Segue Technologies® Inc. was awarded a contract under the NETCENTS-2 Application Services, Small Business suite. Segue’s was one of 12 awards for this ID/IQ (indefinite delivery/ indefinite quantity) contract vehicle with an estimated total value of $960 Million. These contracts have a seven year performance period, though businesses that outgrow the Small Business designation will be “off-ramped” to the large business Application Services suite when they cross that threshold ($25 M/year, revenue over a three year average).

“Segue was founded in 1997 with our first work supporting an Air Force financial system,” said Brian W. Callahan, Segue President and CEO. “Since that time, we have taken responsibility for several Air Force financial and manpower systems of record, enhancing and redesigning them to work more efficiently and reduce their operational costs. Through our NETCENTS-2 contract, we are seeking to repeat that success many times over, to achieve substantial cost savings, while providing Air Force customers with modern and robust tools to support their missions.”

The scope of Application Services task orders will range from custom software development to legacy system operations maintenance and sustainment. A key focus will be the ability to develop web services for integration with Air Force Enterprise systems designed with Service Oriented Architectures. This ability, as well as a defined Quality Assurance methodology, were key areas of the statement of work.
